Today we will be locking ourselves in the lab to finish up 3 songs for our long awaited upcoming full length album.
The first song is an older track that was pushed aside for various reasons but mainly due to our lineup change in late 2011 when Justin had to take over on bass. Some of you may remember hearing "Sounds of Sacrifice" (SOS) at some of our older shows. It has an extremely punchy and raw chorus and a slick record scratch middle part that Zebediah does with his voice followed by a chant of "I love the music".
The next track is one that was going to be the title track on the album, but after review we just felt it wasn't a strong enough song to lead out with first. "Propaganda" has a very driving bass line and simple beat that we feel will appeal to a large audience with a very strong message as well. We really look forward to wrapping up this track.
The third and final track on the list is "Naked" arguably our most controversial and dynamic song to date, naked is almost there and shouldn't take much to get complete. We really are just working to get Branding familiarized with the track as well as give Justin the chance to write a second backing guitar track.
All three of these tracks have been played live in one form or another but we just felt like we kept not only teasing our fans with them but also ourselves. So today is the day to clean, tighten and finish these 3 so we can all have a sense of closure with them. Plus they are all fun to play and you can really feel key parts of each track on an emotional level.
